Trace Images is a web site created by Tracy Crape who lives and works in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Tracy captures nature and landscapes through digital photography. To Tracy, photography is his passion although his daughter describes his interest as a "complete obsession". Tracy completed a Certificate in Photography at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2006. In 2007 he joined the Foothills Camera Club where he continues his learning and is provided with information, networking and field opportunities to further develop his skills. Tracy's interest in nature and photography began early as he was growing up in the mountains of British Columbia in the Kootenay’s. Switching to digital photography in 2003, Tracy was able to further develop his skills while his interest in photography grew stronger. Today you will find Tracy carrying his camera with him wherever he ventures, whether it is a lunch time walk, a mountain hike or a drive through the prairie countryside.
